SUPRALOCAL DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY OF COMMUNES OF HAJNOWSKi DISTRICT & HAJNOWKA POVIAT OFFICE.
On May 4, 2023, an online information meeting was held for representatives of the Municipalities of Hajnówka and Hajnówka County, for which the PHENO HORIZON team is developing a Supra-Local Development Strategy.
During the meeting, the current state of work was discussed and the results of work on the Strategy so far were presented, i.e.:
- Diagnosis of the social, economic and spatial situation,
- Synthesis of the diagnosis along with SWOT analysis and developed conclusions regarding the development potentials and barriers of the Partnership Area,
- Strategic goals, operational goals and directions of supra-local development,
- Functional-Spatial Structure Model (including key conditions for the spatial development of the area, water and climate change-related conditions, areas of strategic intervention and findings and recommendations in the field of shaping and conducting spatial policy).
When starting work related to the development of the Supra-Local Development Strategy for the Commune of Hajnówka Poviat and Hajnówka Poviat, we additionally asked for recommendations and provision of key information and guidelines to be included in the document being developed by neighboring commune, forest districts operating in the area of Hajnówka County and institutions such as: Office Marshal of the Podlaskie Voivodeship, Regional Directorate for Environmental Protection in Białystok, RDLP in Białystok, Regional Water Management Board in Białystok, Regional Water Management Board in Lublin as well as supra-local institutions related to activities for the protection of the Białowieża Forest.
At an organized information meeting, local governments belonging to the Partnership were familiarized with the course of the process and the feedback received from the above-mentioned units.
The meeting ended with joint determination of further plans and deadlines for the implementation of individual stages of the Supra-local Development Strategy for Hajnówka Communes and Hajnówka Poviat District Office.
