INAUGURATION OF #EIL_PL IN LODZ
On October 24, 2023, the grand opening of #EIL_PL – Ecosystem Integration Lab Poland took place at the “Old Cinema” hotel in Lodz, Poland. The event took place as part of the HEI4S3-RM project consortium meeting and brought together scientists involved in the project, as well as representatives of HEI4S3-RM partner universities and institutions.
The opening of #EIL_PL marked a milestone for the HEI4S3-RM project. This is the eighth laboratory opened under the project, and the first in Poland. The #EILPL will be a platform for cooperation between scientists, businesses and local government, supporting the development of innovative solutions for mineral extraction regions.
The program of the ceremony included presentations of the project participants’ experiences to date and an official gala. The event was an excellent opportunity to donate contacts between potential partners.
